Dog Sitting Sisterhood
Membership Agreement
Effective Date: October 7, 2026
This Membership Agreement governs participation in Dog Sitting Sisterhood Premium.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood is a private membership community operated by Janet Clough and centered around women helping women create meaningful income through professional dog care.
By purchasing or participating in Premium membership, you agree to the terms of this Membership Agreement.
Private Membership
Dog Sitting Sisterhood Premium is a private member exchange and community.
It exists to provide members with a private environment for education, shared experience, practical guidance, discussion, professional development, and support.
The private nature of the membership is intended to support trust, open conversation, member privacy, and women helping women.
Membership Eligibility
Members must be at least 18 years old.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood may decline, suspend, or terminate membership when reasonably necessary to protect the community or its members.
Premium Membership Includes
Premium membership may include weekly group calls, live coaching, Premium Skool access, templates and playbooks, pricing support, client-form review, client communication guidance, dog and client fit guidance, practical dog-care business education, community support, and additional resources made available to members.
Specific resources and features may change as the membership develops.
Membership Fees and Billing
Current membership pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and available membership options are shown at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed through third-party platforms such as Skool and Stripe.
Membership renews according to the billing option selected at the time of purchase unless canceled before the next renewal date.
By purchasing Premium membership, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide according to the terms shown at checkout.
Cancellation and Refunds
Members may cancel future renewal according to the instructions available through the applicable membership or payment platform.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for amounts already paid.
Unused portions of a current billing period are not prorated or refunded.
Annual or other prepaid membership payments are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law or where different terms are expressly stated at the time of purchase.
Unless membership is terminated for a material violation of this Agreement, access generally continues through the end of the paid membership period.
Independent Business Relationship
Members operate their own independent businesses.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood membership does not create an employment, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint venture relationship.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood does not provide, assign, or guarantee clients.
Members remain responsible for their own pricing, services, clients, agreements, taxes, insurance, licensing, local requirements, schedules, safety practices, animals in their care, and business decisions.
No Guarantee of Results
Premium membership provides education, support, feedback, resources, and community.
Results vary.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood does not guarantee a specific income, number of clients, bookings, profitability, business growth, or other specific result.
Member Privacy
The private nature of the community matters.
Members agree to respect the privacy of other members.
Without permission, members may not publicly share another member’s personal story, screenshots of private discussions, private conversations, confidential business information, identifying details shared within Premium, recordings of calls, or private member information.
Members should also use reasonable judgment before sharing confidential client information of their own.
Live Calls and Recording
Members may not independently record Premium group calls, coaching sessions, or private member discussions without express permission.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood may occasionally record educational calls for member access.
Members will be informed when a call is being recorded.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood Materials
Premium resources are provided for the member’s own use and for use within her independent dog-care business where appropriate.
Members may not reproduce training for resale, redistribute paid resources, share Premium templates with nonmembers, sell DSS-created materials, upload DSS resources into another course or membership, or create commercial training products based substantially on DSS materials.
Member-Created Content
Members may contribute questions, comments, photos, ideas, experiences, and other content.
Members retain ownership of their original content.
By posting within the community, members grant Dog Sitting Sisterhood permission to display and store that content as reasonably necessary to operate the membership.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood will not intentionally use private member stories as public testimonials without appropriate permission.
Community Expectations
Dog Sitting Sisterhood is a private community built around respect, privacy, support, and women helping women.
Members agree to communicate and participate in a way that supports that environment.
Questions, differing opinions, and respectful discussion are welcome.
Arguing over dog training or care methods is not acceptable. Members may share their experience or explain why they use a particular approach, but repeated debating, baiting, attacking another member’s methods, or attempting to turn community conversations into arguments over training philosophy may result in moderation or removal.
Other behavior that may result in moderation, suspension, or removal includes:
- rude, hostile, demeaning, or repeatedly disrespectful behavior
- harassment, bullying, intimidation, or personal attacks
- inappropriate or disruptive conduct
- conduct that creates an uncomfortable or unsafe environment for other members
- unauthorized solicitation, pitching, recruiting, or selling to members
- using the community primarily to promote another business, offer, group, program, or opportunity
- contacting members privately for unsolicited sales or recruiting
- sharing private member information, screenshots, conversations, or content without permission
- copying, distributing, or misusing Dog Sitting Sisterhood materials
- unlawful, fraudulent, or unsafe conduct
Dog Sitting Sisterhood may remove posts or comments, limit access, suspend membership, or terminate membership when conduct materially interferes with the private community or violates this Agreement.
Whenever reasonably appropriate, concerns may first be addressed privately with the member.
Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate removal.
Internal Resolution Process
Dog Sitting Sisterhood Premium is intended to function as a private member community.
If a disagreement arises between a member and Dog Sitting Sisterhood regarding membership matters, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue privately and in good faith.
The general process is:
- direct written communication between the parties
- a reasonable opportunity for informal resolution
- mediation if the issue cannot reasonably be resolved directly
- additional legal remedies only when necessary and permitted under applicable law
Nothing in this Agreement removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
Member-to-Member Disputes
Dog Sitting Sisterhood is not responsible for disputes between members or for business relationships members independently enter into with one another.
Members are expected to address disagreements respectfully and privately rather than turning the community into a public dispute forum.
Dog and Client Responsibility
Dog Sitting Sisterhood does not supervise dog-care services performed by members.
Each member is responsible for deciding which clients and dogs she accepts, whether dogs are appropriate together, whether her home is suitable for boarding, what safety precautions are necessary, and when specialized professional guidance is needed.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood is not responsible for incidents involving members, clients, dogs, homes, property, or other third parties.
Insurance and Local Requirements
Members are responsible for researching and maintaining insurance, permits, licenses, registrations, contracts, and other requirements applicable to their own businesses.
Requirements vary by location and type of service.
Affiliate Recommendations
Premium discussions and resources may include recommendations for insurance providers, software, products, services, courses, or other resources.
Some recommendations may involve affiliate or referral compensation.
Members remain responsible for deciding whether a product or service is appropriate for their own needs.
Third-Party Platforms
Dog Sitting Sisterhood Premium currently uses Skool and may use other third-party platforms or services.
Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Skool and Stripe.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood is not responsible for outages, technical problems, policy changes, security practices, or actions taken independently by third-party providers.
Membership Termination
Dog Sitting Sisterhood may suspend or terminate membership when a member materially violates this Agreement, repeatedly disregards community expectations, argues or behaves disruptively around training or care methods, solicits or recruits other members without permission, misuses private membership content, or creates a serious privacy, safety, legal, or community concern.
Dog Sitting Sisterhood may also remove a member whose continued participation is reasonably determined to be harmful to the private community experience.
Termination for cause does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Whenever reasonably appropriate, Dog Sitting Sisterhood may first communicate privately with the member regarding the concern.
Governing Framework
This Membership Agreement is intended to govern the private relationship between Dog Sitting Sisterhood and its Premium members.
Members agree to use the private internal resolution process described in this Agreement first whenever reasonably possible.
Applicable California law still applies where required, including rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to Membership Terms
This Agreement may be updated as Dog Sitting Sisterhood evolves.
Members will be informed of material changes when appropriate.
Continued participation after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
Agreement
By purchasing or continuing Dog Sitting Sisterhood Premium membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Membership Agreement.
